Job summary

Mira Construction seeks a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimise mechanical systems for our construction projects. You will create detailed HVAC and plumbing designs, generate layouts and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks, and ensure integration with architectural and structural plans.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 5+ years of construction-focused experience, and strong knowledge of codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in construction.
• Proficiency in CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks.
• Previous experience with a consultant.
