The position emphasizes forward-looking risk reduction, control simplification, and collaboration with senior leaders across 29 markets to strengthen the first line of defense in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of Operational Risk Management experience in financial services.
• Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and regulatory regimes in MEA.
• Experience with Managers Control Assessment (MCA) and risk governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk and controls delivery across the MEA Cluster spanning 29 markets.
• Partner with Operations, Product, and Geography teams to ensure unified risk delivery.
• Drive proactive risk reduction through thematic reviews and early gap identification.
• Define and execute MEA Controls strategy aligned with Services Controls framework.
• Provide strategic advisory on control design, effectiveness and remediation for Transaction Banking products.
• Oversee governance committees and ensure follow-up on actions.
• Influence senior stakeholders across multiple countries and control functions.
