Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Manager, MEA Internal Controls to oversee SOX compliance and internal control frameworks across the Middle East and Africa. The role focuses on risk assessment, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration with Regional and Global Finance teams.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in internal controls/audit, COSO mastery, and excellent communication skills to drive remediation and governance initiatives in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent.
• CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification required.
• 8+ years of combined relevant audit, internal controls and/or SOX experience, including Big 4 background.
• Deep knowledge of COSO internal control framework and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of the internal control framework aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Drive internal controls strategy for operational finance, reporting, and balance sheet integrity.
• Oversee R2R, P2P, and O2C processes to identify and address control gaps.
• Govern balance sheet reconciliations and ensure substantiation of accounts.
