Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Dubai invites an accomplished finance leader to drive performance controlling across the DX MEA region. You will lead a team of about 5 professionals, oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and act as a strategic partner to business units.

You will leverage automation, analytics, and AI to improve efficiency, deliver clear management commentary, and shape the operating model, ensuring compliance with IFRS and delivering value to the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in Finance, Performance Controlling, Corporate Controlling or related leadership roles.
• Strong track record in leading high-performing international teams and developing talents.
• Experience with IFRS reporting and accounting principles.
• Experience driving digital transformation, automation, data analytics and AI in Finance.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely execution of all core Finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting, closings, reporting and performance reviews.
• Provide management with sound analyses for decision-making and forward-looking business steering.
• Act as a trusted business partner to Business Unit and functional management to drive improvements.
• Drive financial transparency, productivity, profitability, cash, and value creation across the DX MEA Finance.
• Lead monthly and quarterly commentary preparation for assigned areas within deadlines.
• Deliver accurate forecasts, management reports, financial bridges and ad hoc requests.
• Shape and continuously improve the Finance operating model, ensuring efficient and scalable processes.
• Leverage automation, analytics and AI to enhance efficiency and decision quality.

Reporting directly to the DX MEA Zone Head of Finance, you will lead and develop a team of approximately 5 finance professionals across different locations and areas of expertise.

Your Role

• You will lead the timely and accurate execution of all core Finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial closings, reporting, and performance reviews.
• You will provide management with a sound basis for decision-making through insightful financial analyses, forward-looking business steering, and transparent performance reporting.
• Acting as a trusted business partner to Business Unit, Business Line, and functional management, you will challenge the status quo, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
• You will drive financial transparency, support on productivity, profitability, cash, and value creation across the entire DX MEA Business.
• You will lead the preparation of clear, concise, and insightful monthly and quarterly commentary for assigned areas of responsibility within set deadlines.
• You will deliver accurate forecasts, management reports, financial bridges, legal-entity reviews & other ad hoc requests.
• You will actively shape and continuously improve the Finance operating model, ensuring efficient, scalable, and future-oriented Finance processes.
• You will leverage digital technologies, automation, advanced analytics, and Artificial Intelligence to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and decision quality within performance controlling.

Work Experience

• Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics or a comparable field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in Finance, Performance Controlling, Corporate Controlling, Business Administration, or a related leadership function at business unit, division Preferably in Healthcare or Diagnostics Field.
• You have a strong track record in leading high-performing teams and developing talents in an international environment.
• You have gained experience in a project-, product-, and/or service-oriented business environment and possess a strong understanding of operational and financial value drivers.
• You are experienced in financial reporting and accounting principles according to IFRS.
• You combine strong analytical skills with a business-oriented mindset and are able to translate financial insights into actionable management decisions.
• You have demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation, automation, data analytics, and AI initiatives within Finance or related business functions.
• You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments and building strong partnerships across business, functions, and corporate organizations.
• You possess excellent communication and influencing skills and are capable of interacting confidently with senior management in an international setting.
