Job summary

Client of Teach East is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in an on-site Abu Dhabi school. You will plan and deliver well-structured math lessons across assigned grade levels, using concrete, pictorial, and abstract approaches to build deep understanding.

The role requires a strong classroom presence, ability to differentiate, assess progress with formative and summative methods, and to collaborate with colleagues while upholding safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related subject and PGCE or equivalent.
• QTS or international teaching qualification preferred.
• Experience in international/multicultural settings advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons across assigned grades.
• Use concrete, pictorial, and abstract methods to build understanding.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Implement formative and summative assessments to monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate records of attainment and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes reasoning and growth.
• Communicate progress and strategies with parents and carers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote numeracy and cross-curricular initiatives.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and participate in professional development and school activities.
