Azizi Group in Dubai seeks a Materials Engineer to oversee selection, testing, and QA of construction materials for MEP projects. You will ensure compliance with project specs, standards, and performance requirements, while collaborating with Design, Procurement, and Construction teams to optimize usage and sustainability.

Competenze

• Experience in material testing and QA for MEP projects
• Familiarity with standards (ISO, IEEE, IEC, CIBSE, BS, NFPA, DEWA, SIRA, DCD, TDRA) and related regulatory requirements

Mansioni

• Oversee selection, testing, and QA of construction materials for MEP projects.
• Ensure materials meet project specs, regulatory standards, and firm performance requirements.
• Collaborate with Design, Procurement, and Construction to optimize material usage, reduce costs, and promote sustainability.
• Monitor and manage all documents and standards within Material Department – CTO.
• Interact and coordinate with specialist stakeholders.
• Implement relevant standards for material testing and compliance.
• Provide technical support during design and construction phases.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve material-related issues.
• Monitor material usage and recommend cost-effective alternatives.
• Develop strong professional relationships with internal and external teams.
• Review material prep and assist in reviewing, commenting and finalizing physical samples.
• Coordinate with other disciplines per stage and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
