Job summary

Azizi Developments seeks a QC professional to manage material inspection, testing, approval, and quality-control activities for construction projects. You will review submittals, datasheets, samples, certificates, and compliance documents to ensure alignment with project specs and authority requirements.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, laboratories and project teams on approvals and testing, establish testing procedures, maintain material registers, and ensure traceability

Responsibilities

• Manage material inspection, testing, approval and quality-control activities for construction projects.
• Review material submittals, technical datasheets, samples, certificates and compliance docs.
• Verify proposed materials meet project specs, standards and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, laboratories and project teams on approvals and testing.
• Prepare and review MARs, IRs and related technical documentation.
• Establish and maintain material testing and inspection procedures per project needs.
• Review laboratory test reports and ensure materials meet acceptance criteria.
• Monitor testing of concrete, cement, aggregates, steel, asphalt, waterproofing, blocks and tiles.
• Conduct site inspections to verify storage, handling, installation and usage of materials.
• Ensure material traceability from procurement through delivery, testing, approval and installation.
• Review supplier/manufacturer documentation including certificates of conformity and warranties.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure only approved materials are used and delivered.
• Identify non-conforming materials and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain material registers, testing schedules and quality records.
• Support QA/QC procedures and investigation of material-related quality issues.
• Monitor supplier/lab performance and ensure testing timelines are met.
• Participate in quality/technical coordination meetings and project reviews.
