Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks an experienced Materials QA/QC Lead to oversee inspection testing, material approvals, and documentation for high-profile construction projects.

You will review submittals, coordinate with consultants and suppliers, maintain material registers, and implement QA/QC procedures to ensure compliance with project specs and authorities. A UAE/GCC fit-out background and 5–8 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years in material management for fit-out or construction.
• UAE/GCC fit-out experience required; factory/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise material inspection testing approval and quality-control activities for construction projects.
• Review material submittals, technical datasheets, samples, certificates and compliance documentation.
• Verify that proposed materials comply with project specifications, approved standards and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, laboratories and project teams regarding material approvals and testing.
• Prepare and review MARs, IRs and related technical documentation.
• Establish and maintain material testing and inspection procedures per project requirements.
• Review laboratory test reports and ensure materials meet acceptance criteria.
• Monitor testing of concrete, cement, aggregates, steel, asphalt, waterproofing and other materials.
