Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Inspector (Material Inspection) to inspect, verify, and monitor construction materials for sewerage, stormwater and drainage projects in Dubai. You will ensure materials comply with Dubai Municipality standards, project specs and approved submittals, while reviewing certificates and witnessing testing.

The role requires 7+ years in construction supervision and knowledge of pipes, fittings, concrete works and reinforcement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction supervision, inspection, or quality control of infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with DM standards, DEWA requirements, project specs and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, verify and monitor materials for DM standards and project specs.
• Review test certificates, lab results and certificates of conformity.
• Witness material testing and maintain inspection records.
