Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Inspector (Material) in Abu Dhabi to oversee material inspections and quality control on major civil infrastructure projects. This role is suited for professionals with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in material inspection.

The ideal candidate will also possess sound knowledge of civil engineering materials and construction quality requirements, particularly within Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of total experience with strong exposure to material inspection for infrastructure projects.
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering materials, testing methods, and construction quality requirements.
• Experience working on Abu Dhabi infrastructure projects with authority coordination exposure.

Responsibilities

• Check site conditions to confirm suitability prior to commencement of construction activities.
• Observe, inspect, and record construction works to ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure materials delivered to site are approved, compliant with specifications, and properly stored.
• Monitor site safety practices and report any non-compliance.
• Coordinate daily with contractor foremen to guide proper execution of works.
