Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Material Engineer to oversee the quality of construction materials for major infrastructure projects. You will monitor material testing, approve sources, and implement QC procedures in line with project specs and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in construction of bridges, roads, infrastructure.
  • RTA or Dubai Central Laboratory approval mandatory.
  • Proven experience in materials engineering and QA/QC within construction.
  • Knowledge of laboratory and field-testing procedures for construction materials.

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Engineer to oversee and ensure the quality of construction materials used in major infrastructure projects. The role involves monitoring material testing, approving sources, and implementing quality control procedures in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Witness all laboratory and in-situ tests performed by the contractor or third-party testing agencies.
  • Prepare and manage material samples for testing according to project specifications.
  • Coordinate with Work Inspectors to confirm approval for testing and resolve related issues.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate sampling and testing to prevent delays in construction activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of delivered materials to confirm compliance with approved suppliers and sources.

Requirements
