Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel in Dubai invites a skilled Massage Therapist to join our on-site team. You will apply body conditioning treatments and massages to guests and club members, ensuring comfort and relaxation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years in hotel industry preferred.
• Certification in massage disciplines preferred.
• Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Promote positive relations with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Massage body using kneading, rubbing and stroking to stimulate circulation and relax muscles.
• Administer steam or heat and other treatments on request.
• Provide guidance on exercises for reducing or remedial purposes.
• Record treatments furnished to customers.
• Keep treatment rooms tidy and stocked (towels, oils, etc).
• Assist with reservations for massages and packages.
• Perform duties professionally to satisfy guests.
• Understand club facilities and membership pricing.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and safety standards.
• Follow hotel environmental, health and safety policies.

Company Description Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property. Catering for both business and leisure clientele. The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

Job Description

As a Massage Therapist you will be recommending and applying body conditioning treatments and massages to the Guests or leisure club members.

What you will be doing

• Massage body, using techniques as kneading, rubbing and stroking to stimulate blood circulation, relax contracted muscles or to relieve other conditions
• Administer steam or dry heat, ultraviolet, infrared or water treatments on request of customer
• Provide directions to clients in activities such as reducing or remedial exercises
• Record treatments furnished to customers
• Ensure that treatment rooms are tidy and all the items available e.g. towels, candles, oils, etc.
• Aware of how to make reservation for massage and other treatment packages
• Perform duties in a professional manner to the full satisfaction of the Guests
• Understand the club facilities and the price of memberships
• Observe high standards of personal hygiene
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferred
• Certification in the disciplines is preferred
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Ability to promote positive relations with all hotel guests & colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.

Visa requirements: Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
