Job summary

AccorHotel in Dubai is seeking a Massage Therapist to deliver body conditioning treatments and massages to Guests and leisure club members. The role involves applying techniques to stimulate circulation, relax muscles, and relieve conditions, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Preferred candidates have 2–3 years of hotel industry experience and certifications in relevant disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel industry preferred.
• Certification in massage/therapies preferred
• Ability to focus on guest needs and remain calm and courteous

Responsibilities

• Massage body using kneading, rubbing, and stroking techniques to stimulate circulation and relax muscles.
• Administer steam, dry heat, or other treatments on customer request.
• Provide guidance to clients for activities and remedial exercises.
• Record treatments furnished to customers accurately.
• Keep treatment rooms tidy and stocked with towels, candles, oils, etc.
• Understand and explain club facilities and membership pricing when asked.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Work safely and in an environmentally friendly manner to protect guests and staff.

What you will be doing

• Massage body using techniques as kneading rubbing and stroking to stimulate blood circulation relax contracted muscles or to relieve other conditions
• Administer steam or dry heat ultraviolet infrared or water treatments on request of customer
• Provide directions to clients in activities such as reducing or remedial exercises
• Record treatments furnished to customers
• Ensure that treatment rooms are tidy and all the items available e.g. towels candles oils etc
• Aware of how to make reservation for massage and other treatment packages
• Perform duties in a professional manner to the full satisfaction of the Guests
• Understand the club facilities and the price of memberships
• Observe high standards of personal hygiene
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and employees health and safety as well as protect and conserve the environment
• Comply with the hotel environmental health and safety policies and procedures
• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferred
• Certification in the disciplines is preferred
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Ability to promote positive relations with all hotel guests & colleagues
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
