Job summary

Time Out Market is seeking a Market Engineer to oversee maintenance and repairs across the Market's front and back of house, including vendor kitchens and kiosks. You will implement preventative maintenance schedules, contract with suppliers, and ensure daily operations stay safe and reliable.

You will coordinate with Market Operations, supervise maintenance staff, and address emergencies. The role requires hands-on capability with trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cooling

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a maintenance or engineering role.
• Proficient in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry.
• Able to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance for the Market.
• Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate with contractors for maintenance tasks.
• Support the CMMS system and perform daily/weekly checks.
• Liaise with stakeholders to minimize disruption.
