Job summary

Time Out Group in Dubai is seeking a Market Engineer to oversee maintenance of Time Out Market facilities, front of house and vendor areas. You will plan preventive maintenance, manage contractors, and ensure safe operations to deliver guest experiences.

You will lead electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry tasks, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with Market Operations to minimize disruption while upholding safety standards and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Experience with miscellaneous M&R processes including painting and drywall.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and maintenance operations of the Market; plan scheduled maintenance.
• Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns and emergencies.
• Lead maintenance projects and monitor progress with contractors.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper handling of health and safety rules.
