Job summary

Quartermaster is seeking Hardware Test & Integration Engineers to grow our HITL test bench and support sensor roadmap expansion. You will evaluate new sensors, write tests, and produce clear results to guide product decisions.

Based in our Virginia HQ with on-site responsibilities, you’ll work across engineering and product teams to ensure secure, efficient test data and procedures while conducting field validation on vessels and in DC-area sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a hands-on engineering field.
• 4–12 years building and maintaining test benches; use of tools and mixed hardware.
• Experience integrating COTS instruments and ensuring network access for remote engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and maintain test infrastructure at DC-area office and deployment sites.
• Develop, refine, and execute manual and automated test procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to evaluate sensor models and inform development roadmaps.
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and configuration across sites and disciplines.
• Keep test data, equipment, and procedures organized and auditable.
