Job summary

DP World Maritime Solutions is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel based at the Corporate Office in Dubai. You will provide comprehensive legal support across shipping-related transactions, including charter parties, offshore and towage contracts, vessel acquisitions and disposals, financing, and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes contract drafting for Offshore Services, Ports Services and MCV/Cargo divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Law required.
• Master’s degree in marine law or contract law preferable.
• 5–7 years’ experience in shipping law and related contracts.
• English/common-law qualification and Gulf region relocation willingness.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on chartering activities for Offshore, Ports Services and MCV/Cargo divisions.
• Prepare, review and negotiate charter party contracts and related agreements.
• Draft and review shipbuilding, loan and joint venture agreements; support on tenders and NDA/LOI/MOU.
• Coordinate with external counsel and ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
