Job summary

Tristar Group in Dubai is seeking an Accountant (Maritime) to support monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting. The role involves P&L and balance sheet scheduling, and reconciling inventories, supplier and customer accounts, while ensuring proper approvals and documents for payments.

The ideal candidate holds a M.Com and has at least 3 years of maritime accounting experience, with strong MS Office skills to compile MIS data and manage intercompany transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Commerce degree required.
• At least 3 years of similar accounting experience in a Maritime Agency.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports within the set deadline.
• Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet schedules, wherever applicable.
• Reconcile Inventory, Supplier and Customer accounts.
• Fixed Asset accounting and maintenance of asset schedules.
• Assist in compiling information required for the business unit’s MIS reports.
• Book all invoices after ensuring proper approvals and supporting documents.
