Job summary

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Position: Accountant

Employment: Full-Time

Key Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Experience in Shipping/Maritime-related accounting
• Experience in making business analysis and feasibility studies.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and expense monitoring
• Experience preparing financial statements, reports, budgets, and account reconciliations
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting regulations including Corporate Tax management and filing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple accounts and responsibilities
• Must be willing to work and be based in Abu Dhabi

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant accounting experience in the UAE
• Previous experience handling accounts for Shipping and Real Estate/Property Management companies is highly preferred
