Job summary

ZMI Holdings is seeking a Marine Superintendent in Abu Dhabi to oversee ship management for dedicated vessels. You will lead a multidisciplinary Integrated Operating Team (IOT) spanning operations, marine, technical services, safety, procurement, crewing, admin, finance, and contracts.

The role requires several years in maritime fleet management, a Master Mariner license, DP certification, and ADNOC exposure. You will ensure regulatory compliance, budget discipline, and effective IOT performance.

Qualifications

Five years’ experience in maritime fleet management.
Unlimited Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (COC).
Dynamic Positioning Certificate by Nautical Institute.
Solid experience handling Offshore Support Vessels (AHTS, DSV, Supply Vessels).
ADNOC approval as Port Captain/Marine Superintendent is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Marine or related field.

Responsibilities

Oversee ship management for assigned vessels, including safety & environment, finance, marine & technical, procurement, crewing, and regulatory compliance.
Lead Integrated Operating Team (IOT) to optimize performance and vessel utilization within budget and regulatory constraints.
Maintain responsibility for vessel operations such as planned maintenance, dry docking, mobilization/demobilization, and vessel modifications.
Develop and uphold competency standards for IOT members and coordinate recruitment/training with the Fleet Manager.
Ensure IOT compliance with organizational HSE, risk management, ESG, procurement, crewing, and regulatory policies.
Oversee budget management and financial controls, and ensure AMOS system adoption across vessels.
Maintain direct communication with the Master, including IOT involvement in decision-making.
