Job summary

SAS International Marine Services LLC in Dubai seeks a Civil Engineer Marine and Port Infrastructure to manage technical and commercial enquiries and oversee civil works in operational ports and marine facilities.

You will conduct site inspections, assess conditions of jetties, quay walls, prepare repair proposals, cost estimates, quotations and method statements, and coordinate repair and refurbishment projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience with civil construction or repair work in ports, shipyards or marine facilities is essential.
• Knowledge of marine construction methods and site safety practices is important.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and commercial enquiries and oversee civil works in operational ports and marine facilities.
• Conduct site inspections; assess condition of jetties, quay walls and associated structures; prepare repair proposals, cost estimates, quotations and method statements.
• Coordinate execution of repair and refurbishment projects, including marine piling works and refurbishment of jetty fixtures.
