Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Civil Inspector specializing in marine and coastal works to join its construction supervision team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on inspecting quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, dredging, and related coastal infrastructure to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs and standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, a technical diploma or degree in a related field, and proven ability to coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and construction

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of marine/coastal inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, revetments and related marine works.

Responsibilities

• Inspect civil and marine construction activities across assigned areas.
• Verify works against drawings, method statements, ITPs and standards.
• Coordinate with surveyors, inspectors, engineers and site teams.
• Maintain detailed daily inspection records and reports.
• Identify non-conformances and issue corrective actions.
• Monitor quality of marine concrete, coatings and materials.
• Check line, level, dimensions and workmanship.
• Ensure safe, compliant marine and coastal construction practices.
