Confidential in Dubai seeks an experienced Maritime Operations Officer to coordinate tugboat movements, towing, port calls, and offshore export activities through SPM facilities. You will prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, maintain accurate records, and follow up activities through to completion.

The role requires a marine background with at least three years of hands-on tug and towing coordination, and a Maritime Studies degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Marine background required with at least three years of relevant tugboat operations and towing experience.
• Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies or a related discipline preferred; equivalent marine experience may be considered.
• Experience coordinating port agents, vessel arrivals/departures, clearances, and marine documentation.
• Experience liaising with classification societies, arranging surveys, monitoring class and statutory certificates, and following up survey items.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate vessel movements, ETA updates, readiness, and towing arrangements; escalate issues affecting planned movements.
• Maintain survey trackers, certificates, and documentation; report deadlines to managers.
• Compile tanker schedules, ETA data, and operational updates from SPM facilities and site teams; produce close-out summaries.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports with performance indicators and actions; ensure accuracy and deadlines.
• Support incident investigations with reports, vessel records, and witness statements; maintain claims register.
