Job summary

Atlantis Dubai, part of Kerzner International, seeks an Assistant Manager of Education for the Lost Chambers Aquarium. Lead the Marine Educator team, deliver conservation education to guests, and develop programmes aligned with AZA standards.

You will train and coach staff, coordinate activities, and ensure accurate information delivery in an engaging, educational way while maintaining high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience in education and guest experience in a zoo, aquarium or museum.
• Experience developing and implementing educational programmes.
• Experience evaluating educational activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong administrative and customer-focused skills.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and walk around the property.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Marine Educator team to maintain high educational standards.
• Engage guests with information about marine life and conservation.
• Coordinate and deliver educational programs while aligning with AZA standards.
• Coach and develop staff through structured training and feedback.
• Manage scheduling, resources, and reporting for education activities.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues.
