Job summary

GAL in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Manager - Quality Control & Engineering to lead all QC management functions related to the customer’s aviation assets. You will advise senior management and ensure compliance with quality policies and processes to support mission requirements.

The role requires directing QC staff, coordinating with contractors, and driving continuous improvement across the quality management system while maintaining high airworthiness and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate QC personnel to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with departments and senior management to define quality procedures.
• Develop and implement new systems and best practices for quality improvement.
• Understand customer needs and maintain relationships with key quality contacts.
• Direct hiring, training, supervision and evaluations of QC staff.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors; review proposals and set specs.
• Direct and monitor QC work and coordinate assignments.
• Establish quality procedures and monitor KPIs for performance.
• Ensure daily operations comply with SOPs and references.
• Handle administrative duties and other assigned responsibilities.
• Implement standards to maintain productivity without lowering quality.
• Conduct root cause investigations to ensure airworthiness and reliability.
• Advise on maintenance procedures and standard methods from engineering.
• Oversee Technical Publications and workshops; ensure process adherence.

Manager - Quality Control amp Engineering Abu Dhabi Published on 14 08 2026 Overview The Quality amp Engineering Manager is responsible for all the Quality Control management functions related to the customer s aviation assets The QC Manager assist the Program Manager OPS Manager in all Quality Control management related activities to successfully support customer mission requirements The QC Manager is the advisor for the Company s Aviation Maintenance Managers and Company s top management The Quality Control Manager promotes develops and oversees compliance of the company quality management system The QC Manager effectively ensures complete and accurate compliance of all customer requirements by managing the quality policies standards procedures programs and practices while driving and facilitating continuous improvement within the quality management system

1. 1 Plan develop organize direct manage and evaluate personnel of the QC department to contribute to the objectives vision and strategy of the organization to support operations and improvements by ensuring compliance with the customer requirements quality policy company standards regulatory and external standards
2. 2 Collaborate with staff other departments senior management and decision makers to share information problem solve clarify management objectives plan formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures

13. 13 Advise and approve maintenance procedures repair schemes drawings guidance and standard procedure issue by Support and Analysis Engineering Section to ensure quality control objectives are defined and met
14. 14 Monitor and oversee Technical Publications and workshops sections and ensures the completeness and accuracy of all processes are adhered to and provide necessary guidance when required
