Job summary

MDE MENA is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC and continuously improve quality across engineering, fabrication and project delivery in the UAE.

The role requires a degree in engineering, at least 15 years in engineering/technical operations with 10+ years in quality management, and a Lead Auditor certification. NEBOSH qualifications are preferred. You will oversee multidisciplinary inspections and drive QMS effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• 15 years of experience in engineering or technical operations.
• At least 10 years in quality management.
• Lead Auditor certification covering quality, OH&S and environmental management systems.
• Strong experience in manufacturing, fabrication and multidisciplinary quality control.
• Knowledge of welding standards, material requirements and NDE/NDT.
• Experience managing inspections, audits, final acceptance and technical documentation.
• Proven ability to lead quality teams and coordinate with clients, suppliers and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC and maintain an ISO 9001–compliant QMS.
• Approve quality plans, ITPs and method statements aligned with project schedules.
• Oversee inspections across fabrication, welding, piping, electrical, HVAC, and coatings.
• Ensure compliance with codes, welding qualifications and material traceability.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate client and third‑party inspections.
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive improvements to reduce defects and waste.
