Job summary

DP World in Dubai is seeking an experienced project manager to lead the department's lifecycle from lead generation and bid estimation to execution and delivery of complex contracts. You will coordinate resources, manage subcontractors and logistics, drive risk control, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in the department's commercial activity from lead generation to bid estimations and budget elaboration.
• Coaches, mentors, provides feedback, communicates expectations, oversees and evaluates project team members.
• Contributes to the risk management of the department.
• Ensures correct assignment of resources (human and material) to projects and contracts.
• Manages project lifecycle, including scope, goals, execution and deliverables, plans and manages execution, subcontractors and logistics; obtains permits/approvals; coordinates testing, commissioning and snag closure; produces handover packs (as-builts, O&M, warranties).
• Manages procurement and technical submittal approvals.
• Ensures budgets, cash flow and margins; accurate invoicing and timely collection.
• Chairs client progress meetings and change management.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors for high satisfaction.
• Participates in developing solid quality proposals to win projects.
• Ensures safety standards; complies with UAE laws; conducts site inspections.
• Ensures quality is compliant to international standards; implements QC/ITPs; maintains site diaries; captures lessons learned and updates standards/estimates.

• Manages project life cylce, including project scope, goals, execution and deliverables: Plans/manages execution, subcontractors, and logistics. Obtains permits/approvals (Trakhees, DM, landlords). Coordinates testing, commissioning, and snag closure. Produces handover packs (as-builts, O&Ms, warranties).
• Manages procurement and technical submittal approvals.
• Ensures budgets, cash flow and margins of all projects and varations are adhered to and accurate invoicing and collection in the prescribed time are achieved
• Chairs client progress meetings and change management
• Establishes and maintain effective business relationships with existing customers, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Participates on the development of solid quality proposals that meet the requirements of the customers and establish the best possible chance of winning projects.
