Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned Senior Planning Manager to lead schedule and cost controls across complex infrastructure and buildings programs. You will shape baselines, drive performance, and provide clear insights to help clients make confident decisions.

You will oversee planning teams, manage baselines, monitor critical paths, and deliver accurate progress reports. The role requires 15 years of experience, strong knowledge of EOT and claims, and advanced Primavera P6 skills, with client-facing

Qualifications

• 15 years of planning experience on major building and infrastructure projects.
• AED 800M+ project value delivery.
• Advanced experience in EOT assessments, delay analysis and claims management.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and project controls methodologies.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, and project controls activities for major building and infrastructure projects.
• Develop, review, and manage baseline, revised, recovery, and resource-loaded schedules.
• Monitor progress, critical path activities, and key contractual milestones.
• Evaluate EOT submissions, delay analyses, and TIAs.
• Review contractor programs for contractual compliance.
• Provide strategic planning advice to Project Directors and senior management.
• Lead planning meetings and present performance reports to clients/stakeholders.
• Develop mitigation and recovery plans for delays.
• Oversee project controls reporting, forecasting, and schedule risk management.
• Mentor and manage planning engineers and project controls staff.

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Planning Manager to lead schedule and cost controls across complex infrastructure and buildings programs. You will shape robust baselines, drive project performance, and provide clear insights that help our clients make confident decisions.

• Lead all planning, scheduling, and project controls activities for major building and infrastructure projects.
• Develop, review, and manage baseline, revised, recovery, and resource-loaded schedules.
• Monitor project progress, critical path activities, and key contractual milestones.
• Evaluate and manage EOT submissions, delay analyses, and Time Impact Assessments (TIA).
• Review contractor programs and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Provide strategic planning advice to Project Directors and senior management.
• Lead planning meetings and present project performance reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Develop mitigation and recovery plans to address project delays.
• Oversee project controls reporting, forecasting, and schedule risk management.
• Mentor and manage planning engineers and project controls staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of planning experience on major building and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated delivery of multiple completed projects valued at AED 800 million+.
• Strong experience in large, complex, and detailed building developments.
• Proven experience on major infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and associated civil works.
• Extensive experience in Extension of Time (EOT) assessments, delay analysis, and claims management.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and project controls methodologies.
• Excellent presentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Previous experience leading planning teams and interfacing directly with clients, consultants, and contractors.
