Job summary

Landmark Group's UAE Shoe Mart seeks a Lead finance business partner to drive FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and governance across the UAE operation. You will partner with brand, commercial, and corporate teams to support strategic decisions and profitability improvements.

You will oversee monthly closes, reporting, KPI reviews, and ensure compliance with VAT, CFO scorecard, and other corporate guidelines, while building strong financial controls and risk management practices.

Qualifications

• CA with 3–5 years of Finance/Operations experience, retail preferred.
• 2–3 years of managerial experience in a Finance/Operations/Commercial function.
• Experience with financial planning, budget control and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, feasibility studies, lease renewals, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with business, brand, and corporate teams to monitor performance.
• Manage governance, including legal agreements and approvals.
• Oversee monthly closes and reporting for accuracy and compliance.
• Review KPIs (sales, markdowns, productivity, overheads) with insights.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Tax, VAT, FAR, COC and internal guidelines.
• Support strong financial controls, policies, and risk management.

Job description

Lead finance business partnering, planning, reporting, and governance activities for UAE Shoe Mart.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• FP&A: Lead budgeting, forecasting, feasibility studies, lease renewals, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and profitability improvement.
• Business partnering: Collaborate with business, brand, and corporate teams to monitor financial performance, identify opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
• Governance: Manage legal agreements and commercial proposals by coordinating with business, legal, and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely reviews and approvals.
• Reporting: Oversee monthly financial closing and reporting processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Performance: Review key business KPIs, including sales, markdowns, productivity, and overheads, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to Corporate Tax, VAT, FAR, COC, CFO scorecard requirements, and other statutory and internal compliance guidelines.
• Controls: Support the implementation and maintenance of strong financial controls, policies, and risk management practices.

CA 3 – 5 years of experience in Finance and Operations preferably in a Retail environment with specific exposure to operational financial planning and budget control with 2 -3 years of managerial experience in an independent Finance / Operations / Commercial function
