Job summary

Aster DM Healthcare in Dubai seeks an experienced finance professional to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions per IFRS and group policies. You will oversee General Ledger management, balance sheet reconciliations, and lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.

You will coordinate statutory, internal, and group audits, provide audit schedules, implement recommendations, and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• 5-7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with IFRS and Group policies
• Oversee General Ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations
• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate statutory, internal and group audits
• Provide audit schedules and ensure timely closure of observations
• Implement audit recommendations and strengthen controls
• Review and file UAE VAT returns
• Ensure compliance with FTA regulations.
• Manage VAT audits and tax queries
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations and Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
• Review and coordinate preparation of Corporate Tax computations, tax provisions, and supporting schedules
• Support Corporate Tax audits, inquiries, and assessments by regulatory authorities
• Monitor internal controls and delegated authority compliance
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, HR and corporate finance
