Job summary

Sobha Furniture in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable leader to manage the end-to-end AR function, optimize collections, and strengthen credit control policies. You will monitor aging, reduce DSO, and lead a cross-functional AR team within a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in AR/credit control, a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to drive efficient invoicing, reconciliations, and cash

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• Monitor customer balances, ageing reports, overdue accounts, and collection performance.
• Drive collection efficiency and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and working capital.
• Resolve customer billing disputes and ensure timely account reconciliations.
• Develop and enforce credit control policies, procedures, and collection strategies.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish appropriate credit limits.
• Monitor credit exposure, collection risks, bad debts, and recovery actions.
• Manage intercompany/captive customer receivables, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, credit notes, debit notes, and customer claim processing.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage receivables, cash applications, reporting, and process automation.
• Maintain customer master data, payment terms, and credit limit accuracy within the ERP system.
• Oversee cash application, bank-related collection reconciliations, and resolution of unapplied cash.
• Prepare receivables ageing reports, collection forecasts, cash flow reports, and management dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit standards.
• Lead and develop the accounts receivable team while collaborating with sales, production, logistics, customer service, treasury, and finance teams to optimize collections and customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or related field.
• ERP Requirement: Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in AR, credit control, or finance functions, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
