Job summary

GMG Gulf is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support reliable operation of food processing and packaging machinery in Dubai. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, diagnose faults, and assist with breakdown repairs under the Maintenance Supervisor.

A background in the frozen food sector and HACCP/GMP awareness are preferred. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will help minimize downtime, maintain production efficiency, and ensure safe, hygienic operation of

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or ITI trade certificate in Electrical or Mechanical trades.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in machine operation or technical work within the frozen food industry.
• Practical familiarity with machinery used in food processing or packaging operations.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and food hygiene requirements.
• Ability to set machine parameters and perform basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on food processing and packaging machinery.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify wear and potential issues.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and assist with breakdown repairs.
• Coordinate with production to understand machinery-related concerns and improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, servicing and repairs.
