Job summary

CPF is seeking a maintenance professional to ensure the reliable operation of mechanical and electrical plant within the site. You will work in a team, follow PPM routines, and maintain clear records, while upholding health, safety, and food safety standards.

The role emphasizes understanding of MEP systems, hygiene of equipment, and able supervision of subordinates in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience with food processing plant maintenance.
• Must be able to supervise subordinates.
• Experience working as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement preventive maintenance for all site equipment.
• Handover machinery after PPM/breakdown.
• Ensure hygiene of equipment during maintenance.
• Record and report maintenance works.
• Inventory of spares and record usage.
• Use Microsoft Office for maintenance records and reporting.
• Inform Food Safety team about equipment changes affecting safety.
• Comply with SHEQ requirements.
• Complete tasks without delay and supervision.

To ensure the effective operation of all mechanical and electrical plant within the area of operation. Capable of working as part of a team and taking Instruction. Ensure health and safety and standard PPM practices are adhered to and completing all necessary paperwork on maintenance and repair operations. Must be a good communicator and have relevant M&E experience in manufacturing.

The below Key Performance areas include but are not limited to:

• Preventive maintenance program for all equipment on site.
• Adequate handover of machineries after PPM/breakdown
• Ensure hygiene condition of equipment during maintenance
• Knowledge of equipment and processes required in engineering workplace
• General housekeeping and cleaning duties related to engineering practices
• Knowledge of food manufacturing plant and operational requirements
• Review and improvement of systems in conjunction with the manager
• Ensure all works are compliant with company SHEQ requirements
• Recording and reporting on maintenance works
• Inventory of spares and record keeping of used spare parts
• Capability to complete tasks without delay and supervision
• Capability of use of computer software such as Microsoft Office
• Inform Food safety team about any changes in equipment as well as any risk on food safety related to utensils and equipment.
