Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to perform maintenance, repair, and testing of wireline tools and equipment. You will ensure equipment performance, safety, and compliance while supporting service delivery teams with asset readiness.

You will collaborate across field operations and engineering to deliver reliable equipment that meets customer needs and business goals, with experience in electro-mechanical systems and SAP CMMS preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance, repair, and testing of wireline tools and equipment.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and electronic systems; SAP or similar CMMS experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, circuit diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Are you a hands-on technical professional passionate about maintaining high-performance equipment and ensuring operational readiness? Join our Maintenance & Workshop Team! Our Maintenance team plays a vital role in supporting service delivery by ensuring wireline tools and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. We enable operational excellence by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring assets are ready for deployment. We partner closely with field operations and engineering teams to deliver reliable equipment that meets customer and business needs.

Partner with the best We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist to execute maintenance, repair, and testing of wireline tools and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment performance, safety, and compliance while supporting service delivery teams with asset readiness. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Have experience in maintenance, repair, and testing of wireline tools and equipment.
• Possess strong expertise in electro-mechanical and electronic systems, with experience in Sondex tools or similar wireline product lines highly preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting circuits, sensors, telemetry, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Be experienced in SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
• Be skilled in reading schematics, circuit diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Be a collaborative team player with strong coordination skills across field and operations teams.
• Should be willing to travel internatioally
