Job summary

Bilfinger Middle East in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Maintenance Planner with hands-on IBM Maximo expertise to support critical process plant operations. This role bridges engineering strategy and field execution, using Maximo data to build, schedule, and optimize maintenance workflows that minimize asset downtime and keep operations running reliably.

You will review work orders, model job plans, configure PMs, and coordinate with Materials Technicians and Field Supervisors to deliver weekly

Qualifications

• 3–4 years field experience in process plants or equivalent
• 1+ year dedicated work-planning experience
• Strong CMMS knowledge with IBM Maximo proficiency
• Ability to build and manage complex job plans and PM schedules
• Experience coordinating with Materials Technicians, Central Stores and Field Supervisors

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize, and plan preventive (PM) and corrective (CM) work orders directly within Maximo.
• Build multi-level nested tasks, develop dynamic job plans, estimate labor hours, define crafts/crews, and specify materials and tools.
• Configure PM records, set calendar-based intervals, establish meter-based triggers, and develop work-back schedules for turnarounds/major overhauls.
• Utilize Maximo Graphical Scheduler and Graphical Work Week to map capacity, sequence dependencies, level manpower, and manage constraints.
• Map material requirements within job plans and verify stock availability with storerooms ahead of field execution.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner with strong hands‑on expertise in IBM Maximo to join our team supporting critical process plant operations. This role bridges engineering strategy and field execution, using Maximo's data structures to build, schedule, and optimize maintenance workflows that minimize asset downtime and keep operations running reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Work Order Management: Review, prioritize, and plan preventive (PM) and corrective (CM) work orders directly within Maximo.
• Job Plan Modeling: Build multi‑level nested tasks, develop dynamic job plans, estimate accurate labor hours, define crafts/crews, and specify required materials and tools.
• Preventive Maintenance Controls: Configure PM records, set calendar‑based intervals, establish meter‑based triggers, and develop work‑back schedules for plant turnarounds and major overhauls.
• Advanced Scheduling: Utilize Maximo Graphical Scheduler and Graphical Work Week applications to map resource capacity, sequence task dependencies, level manpower, and manage scheduling constraints.
• Materials & Requisitions:* Map material requirements within job plans and verify stock availability with warehouse storerooms ahead of field execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of hands‑on field experience maintaining process plant equipment, plus at least 1 year of dedicated work‑planning experience.
• Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems, with demonstrated proficiency in IBM Maximo.
• Proven ability to build and manage complex job plans, PM schedules, and resource‑leveled work schedules.
• Excellent coordination skills, with experience working closely with Materials Technicians, Central Stores, and Field Maintenance Supervisors to deliver weekly schedules.
• Prior experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar heavy-industry/plant turnaround environments preferred.
