Job summary

Bombardier in Abu Dhabi delivers next‑generation MRO services from a flagship service center. You will join the Middle East aftermarket team, coordinating aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet delivery dates.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily updates of aircraft schedule and manpower to reallocate resources to meet delivery dates.
  • Create work packages in SAP, including scheduled and drop-in maintenance tasks.
  • Report to the Project Manager and manage assigned aircraft aspects of the project.
  • Assist in reporting project status to customers and seek approvals for defects.
  • Generate Work Orders in Pivotal and update status weekly and on return to service.
  • Forecast demand for spares, consumables and outsourcing tasks for assigned aircraft.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/supply chain on GSE/tooling availability and support execution.
  • Review aircraft documents and advise on airworthiness requirements to the PM.
  • Seek customer warranty approvals when required to facilitate claims.
  • Support invoicing preparation with Invoice Analysts when needed.
  • Reconcile work packages post-maintenance and issue CRS for final release.
  • Control ABM CD document handling and monitor revision status and updates.
  • Contribute to CAMO tasks and support Tire and Battery Shops as needed.

Job description

Join us at Bombardier's new Abu Dhabi Service Center, a state-of-the-art flagship facility at Al Bateen Executive Airport, set to go live in Q1 2027. This center will offer advanced MRO capabilities and support the entire Bombardier aircraft portfolio. Be part of our expanding Middle East aftermarket team, driving excellence, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experience across the region.

This position is based in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate must relocate and establish residence in Abu Dhabi.

This position is open to candidates currently based in the United Arab Emirates; relocation support is not available.

In your role, you will
  • Support the update of Aircraft Schedule and Manpower Chart on the daily basis for Operation to re-allocate the resources to meet the aircraft delivery date and new input demand.
  • Create work packages (Work Orders) in SAP, including the scheduled and drop-in aircraft for maintenance task(s) execution.
  • Report indirectly to Project Manager (PM), and undertake the aircraft assigned to his/her PM in all aspects of the project execution.
  • Assist in reporting the project status to Customer and seek approval on the arising defect(s) as required.
  • Support in generating the Work Orders in Pivotal and update the status on the weekly basis as well as when aircraft return to service.
  • Forecast and create demand for spares, consumables and outsourcing tasks such as NDT inspection and hydrostatic test requirement on his/her assigned aircraft project.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/supply chain on the availability of required GSE/tooling and communicate with warehouse/ supply chain, on any assistance required for their onwards arrangement and execution.
  • Review and research aircraft documents but not limited to Aircraft/Engine Logbooks, Approved Engineering Orders, Aircraft/Engine/Component Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives pertaining to the assigned aircraft as well as incoming aircraft when make available. And make recommendation to his/her PM that relates to the airworthiness requirements.
  • Seek prior approval from Customer's subscripted warranty program(s) if required to facilitate claim proceeding.
  • Support his/her assigned PM in communication with Invoice Analysts on the warranty and special program and give support to the preparation of invoicing as and when required.
  • Reconcile the work package at the end of maintenance activity and ensure all accepted maintenance tasks have been duly completed and certified. Make certificate of release (CRS) of the completed maintenance tasks for C staff to verify and final release.
  • Control book-in and book-out of Aircraft Maintenance Manual CD (hardcopy) and monitor their revision status and date, including temporary revision.
  • Undertake Planning and CAMO tasks as well as support Tire and Battery Shops for tasks execution.
As our ideal candidate,
  • Ideally, you hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related discipline, or bring equivalent industry experience.
  • A technical background in aviation would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling systems is essential.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs and maintenance operations.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes, resource management, and production planning within an aviation environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate activities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional teams, customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Power BI, along with the ability to work with database and web based systems.
  • Experience coordinating workloads, resources, and priorities in a dynamic, multi project environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, management, customers, and business partners.
  • Knowledge of human factors, human performance, and human limitations, and their application within an aviation environment.
  • Project management training or certification would be considered an advantage.
