What you’ll do:
- Electrical and Mechatronic maintenance, assembly and wiring of machines and components leveraging engineering expertise.
- Understanding of technical complex engineering electrical circuit diagrams.
- Maintenance work on mechanical and electronic systems, including inspections, cleanings and lubrication.
- Check of machine safety components and systems.
- Optimization of automation solutions for production machines using PLC controllers, robotics, industrial image processing, drive technology, testing technology, safety technology and other automation technologies.
- Programming and commissioning of PLC controllers, safety controllers and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
- Integration of robotic systems and other automated components into existing production processes.
- Functional tests and performance tests on automation systems, troubleshooting and optimization of control programs.
- Preparation of technical documentation, operating instructions and training material.
- Collaboration with business partner (tool maker, Engineers and external partners).
- Support in training of employees and other engineers.
- Use of Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., 3D printing, AMR).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in preferably electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics or a similar qualification.
- Min 2 years of experience in industrial automation.
- Knowledge of Cam‑controlled machines like: Bihler (preferred), Wafios, Finzer.
- High‑speed automatic assembly lines like: Stiwa, PIA, Festo, Omron, B&R, DA Automation.
Skills:
- Arburg or Engel machine for 1 and 2 component tools and molding infrastructure e.g. centry drying system (Wittmann), machine and tool cooling.
- Experienced in CAD, SPS, HMI-Systems, circuit diagram understanding for electric, pneumatic and hydraulic; advantageous: programming skills.
- Quick comprehension, independent working style, ability to work in teams, strong communication skills, continuous learning, willingness to work shifts.
