Vista is seeking a senior Maintenance Accounting Lead to oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close for maintenance accounting across operators. You will govern balance sheet accounts, review journals, and ensure accurate reporting in line with IFRS.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• 7+ years post-qualification experience in financial accounting or controllership.
• Maintenance accounting experience required.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience.
• Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge.
• Excellent communication and judgement.
• Strong Excel skills; ERP and aviation or engineering exposure advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close for maintenance accounting.
• Maintain governance over maintenance balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.
• Review and approve journals and outputs for maintenance finance team.
• Ensure accurate maintenance inputs into management and statutory reporting.
• Lead and develop a team of two maintenance accountants.
• Collaborate with Head of Finance and Finance Business Partners to reflect maintenance activity in financial records.
• Promote consistency of maintenance accounting practices across operators and jurisdictions.
