Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage hotel accounting, preparing monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow in line with USALI and IFRS, with variance analysis against budget and prior year.

You will lead the month-end close, ensure intercompany reconciliations, supervise the accounts team, and collaborate with tax advisors to meet VAT and corporate tax filings while supporting audit and budget processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in hospitality or related sector.
• Strong knowledge of USALI and IFRS.
• Hands-on experience with hospitality systems and ERP.
• Proven ability to present financial reports to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) per USALI and IFRS with variance analysis vs budget and prior year.
• Lead month-end close with accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
• Present monthly results and commentary to Finance Manager.
• Supervise accounts team (AP, AR, payroll, income audit, cost control).
• Ensure VAT, corporate tax filings, WPS payroll payments, and statutory deadlines with tax advisors.
• Support annual audit, budgeting and forecast preparation.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance, including approvals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close with accruals prepayments bank and intercompany reconciliations and fixed asset and inventory accounting
• Present the monthly results and commentary to the Finance Manager
• Supervise and develop the accounts team AP AR payroll income audit cost control
• Make sure VAT and Corporate Tax filings WPS payroll payments and statutory deadlines are met working with tax advisors
• Support the annual audit and budget and forecast preparation
• Maintain internal controls Compliances payment approvals etc

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of USALI, IFRS, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Hands-on experience with Hospitality systems (e.g. Opera PMS, POS) and an ERP or back-office accounting system, plus advanced Excel.
• Proven ability to prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail and communication skills.
