Job summary

SCC Services Romania in the UAE is seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer for an initial 6-month freelance contract. The role is hybrid, combining onsite work in Abu Dhabi area with remote collaboration, and offers potential extension based on project needs and performance.

You will design, develop, deploy, and maintain ML solutions, build end-to-end pipelines, work with data scientists and engineers, and implement MLOps practices to ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, AI Development, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras).
• Experience deploying ML models in production and working with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on an initial 6-month freelance contract. This is a hybrid role offering a combination of onsite and remote work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning solutions that support key business initiatives. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial contract period, subject to project requirements and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and AI solutions.
• Build and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines for data ingestion, training, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
• Previous experience delivering projects within the UAE or GCC region.
