You will own the ML lifecycle from experimentation through deployment and monitoring, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive best practices in MLOps and model reliability for scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across ML, software engineering or related roles.

Lead Machine Learning Engineer | AI Lab | Abu Dhabi

We’re hiring a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join a high-growth AI Lab in Abu Dhabi, working on the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning solutions at scale.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an experienced ML Engineer who can take models from research and experimentation through to production, while helping shape engineering standards and mentor other members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of production-grade machine learning systems
• Build and optimise ML models across a range of AI use cases
• Own the full ML lifecycle, from experimentation and model development through to deployment and monitoring
• Design scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure for training and inference
• Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Software Engineers and Product teams
• Drive best practices across MLOps, model performance, testing and production reliability
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers within the team
• Evaluate new models, frameworks and technologies and introduce them where appropriate

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience across Machine Learning, Software Engineering or related technical roles
• Strong hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models into production
• Advanced Python development skills
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning and modern AI architectures
• Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar
• Experience building scalable ML pipelines and working with large datasets
• Strong understanding of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring and CI/CD
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing production-grade systems
• Previous experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI or a related field
