Job summary

Codemind Staffing Solutions seeks a skilled Microsoft 365 Engineer in the UAE to administer tenants, plan and execute migrations, and manage security controls across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.

You will configure Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and licensing; deploy devices with Intune and Autopilot; and implement Purview data protections and Defender security policies. Domain knowledge of UAE clients is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 technologies.
• At least 2 years of customer-facing consulting or managed services experience.
• Successfully delivered at least two end-to-end Exchange or Microsoft 365 migration projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and SharePoint Online.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 tenants including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
• Plan and execute mailbox and file migrations (hybrid, cutover, staged, tenant-to-tenant).
• Configure Exchange hybrid environments, mail flow, SPF/DKIM/DMARC and Defender for Office 365.

Job Description:

• Microsoft 365 Administration: Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 admin centres.
• Migration Services: Plan and execute mailbox and file migrations, including Exchange on-premises to Exchange Online (hybrid, cutover, and staged), tenant-to-tenant migrations, and file server or Google Workspace migrations to SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Exchange Online and Email Security: Configure Exchange hybrid environments, mail flow, connectors, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and Exchange Online Protection.
• Identity and Access Management: Manage Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect synchronization, multifactor authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, self-service password reset (SSPR), and licensing.
• Endpoint Management: Deploy and manage devices through Microsoft Intune, including compliance and configuration policies, Windows Autopilot, application deployment, and Windows Update for Business.
• Information Protection and Compliance: Implement Microsoft Purview controls, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), sensitivity labels, retention policies, eDiscovery, and auditing.
• Microsoft Security: Configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Defender for Endpoint policies, investigate alerts, and support incident response.
• Microsoft Teams: Configure Teams governance, Teams Phone, calling plans, and meeting room devices where required.
• L2 Support and Incident Management: Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs and elevate complex issues to L3 teams or Microsoft Support with clear technical diagnostics.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare design documents, migration plans, operational runbooks, and project handover documentation.
• Knowledge Transfer: Conduct end-user training and administrator knowledge-transfer sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer-facing consulting or managed services.
• Successfully delivered at least two end-to-end Exchange or Microsoft 365 migration projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and SharePoint Online.
• Good understanding of on-premises Active Directory, Exchange Server, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Graph, and Entra modules.
• Familiarity with migration tools such as BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, Quest, or native Microsoft migration tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice, or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customer IT teams.

Certifications Preferred

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102).
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102).
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).
• Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate (SC-401).
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700).

Good to Have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness assessments and rollout.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience supporting UAE government or semi-government customers.
• Arabic language proficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently based in the UAE with a valid residence visa, or able to transfer the visa without delay.
• Available to join immediately or within 15 days.
• A valid UAE driving licence is preferred for customer site visits.
• Willing to work at customer premises and support occasional after-hours change windows.
