Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior M&A professional to lead origination, screening and execution of transactions across trading and downstream sectors. You will build robust business cases, perform valuations and coordinate due diligence to support investment decisions near leadership and governance committees.

This role requires 10–12 years in M&A or corporate development within energy or commodities, advanced modelling and a track record of negotiating complex agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Master's degree (e.g. MBA or MSc Finance) is preferred.
• 10–12 years' experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or related fields.
• Experience in energy/oil & gas, downstream or commodity trading is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate, screen and prioritise M&A, JV, partnership and divestment opportunities.
• Lead due diligence, valuation modelling, risk assessment and negotiation support.
• Prepare investment committee submissions with robust assumptions and governance alignment.
• Coordinate with Legal, Tax, Finance and commercial teams to manage external advisors.
• Develop market insights and contribute to deal process improvements and value creation.
