Job summary

ADNOC seeks an experienced leader to drive execution of M&A, JV and investment opportunities across trading and downstream operations. You will originate deals, develop robust business cases, perform valuation and Due Diligence, and support negotiations to protect value while aligning with corporate strategy.

The role requires senior-level experience in energy investments, strong financial modelling, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver governance-compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred (MBA or MSc Finance).
• 10-12 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity or strategy, with hands-on execution through closing.

Responsibilities

• Originate, screen and prioritize M&A, JV, partnership and divestment opportunities.
• Lead day-to-day execution across due diligence, valuation, modelling, risk assessment and deal documentation.
• Develop robust business cases with market analysis, economics, risk assessment and implementation strategy.
• Coordinate due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, technical and tax aspects and manage external advisors.
• Support negotiation of term sheets, SPAs and JV agreements, aligning with governance requirements.
• Prepare investment committee and board submissions with robust assumptions and compliance.
