Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to support senior bankers on client transactions and strategic projects.

You will organize and analyze financial data, prepare valuation materials, and build models for live deals, while learning to navigate market trends and risk requirements. You will work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with the Institutional Banking team to raise capital and advise on mergers and other financial transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior CIB officers on client transactions and projects as a junior team member.
• Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans.
• Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and exhibits for pitches and live deals.
• Conduct economic/financial research.
• Evaluate financial performance against industry trends.
• Build complex financial models for valuation.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, policies and ethical standards.
