Job summary

Chalhoub Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a passionate Department Manager – Women's Ready-to-Wear for Tryano. Lead Fashion Consultants, elevate client journeys, and drive performance on the shop floor while partnering with Buying and Visual Merchandising to optimise stock and product presentation.

You will develop a high-performing team, foster engagement and accountability, and ensure luxury service standards across all client interactions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Department Manager or equivalent retail leadership role within luxury fashion.
• Strong product knowledge across Women's Ready-to-Wear and/or Leather Goods.
• Demonstrated success in leading, coaching and developing sizeable retail teams.
• Hands-on, floor-focused leadership style aiming to motivate and drive change.
• Strong commercial acumen with KPI analysis and growth identification.
• Genuine passion for luxury client experience, relationship building and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of Fashion Consultants to achieve high performance and accountability.
• Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor and support the team in delivering exceptional service.
• Drive positive change by challenging current methods and encouraging proactive client engagement.
• Identify development opportunities and provide ongoing coaching to maintain service standards.
• Champion a client-first approach reflecting the highest standards of luxury service.
• Drive sales, conversion and client loyalty through relationship building.
• Analyze sales reports, monitor KPIs and identify commercial opportunities.
• Address daily commercial challenges and implement practical solutions to drive results.
• Collaborate with Buying and Visual Merchandising to optimise assortment, stock movement and presentation.
• Gather client and sales team insights to inform Buyers and commercial decisions.
• Oversee daily department operations ensuring operational excellence and seamless client experience.
