Job summary

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai seeks an experienced Wine Service Attendant to elevate our luxury dining experiences. You will manage wine service, ensure correct temperatures, maintain stock, and support service teams to deliver flawless guest moments.

The ideal candidate holds a WSET level 3 or equivalent, certified trainer credentials, and 2–4 years in a high-end hospitality setting. You thrive in a premium, guest-facing environment and value teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certified trainer for task and group development.
• WSET level 3 or equivalent is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in luxury, high-end hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all wines are tasted and in pristine condition before serving guests and maintain wine chillers at the correct temperature.
• Control and monitor wine orders, stock, and par levels, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize wastage and spoilage.
• Carry out inventories, maintain temperature records, and explain any variances.
• Prepare mise en place well in advance and follow checklists and cleaning schedules to ensure readiness and cleanliness.
• Attending to all tables during service, refilling and taking fresh orders, and building rapport with teams to enhance teamwork and smooth operations.
• Communicate any required changes for outlet wine lists and standards with outlet managers/Beverage Manager and send updates on availability.
