Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai invites an experienced wine service professional to join our luxury team. You will oversee wine service, manage stock, maintain temperature controls, and ensure impeccable guest experiences across our resort and dining venues.

About the Job

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Ensure all wines are tasted and in pristine condition before serving guests and maintain wine chillers at the correct temperature.
• Control and monitor wine orders, stock, and par levels, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize wastage and spoilage.
• Carry out inventories, maintain temperature records, and explain any variances.
• Prepare mise and place well in advance and follow checklists and cleaning schedules to ensure readiness and cleanliness.
• Attending to all tables during service, refilling and taking fresh orders, and building rapport with teams to enhance teamwork and smooth operations.
• Communicate any required changes for outlet wine lists and standards with outlet managers/Beverage Manager and send updates on availability.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Certified task and group trainer.
• WSET level 3 or equivalent.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in similar luxury, high-end work environment.
