Job summary

Careers International seeks a Project Engineer/Programmer to lead smart home installations for luxury residences in Dubai. You will oversee on-site setup, integration across lighting, AV, CCTV and HVAC, and ensure flawless functionality.

You will program devices, test systems, and mentor clients on usage while coordinating with architects and designers. A strong, client-focused engineer with brand experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in installation, programming and commissioning of smart home systems in luxury environments.
• Proficiency in programming and configuring systems from leading brands.
• Strong understanding of networking, AV, HVAC and integrated home automation.
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with clients and teams.
• Certifications (e.g., CEDIA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee installation of smart home systems in luxury residential projects.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers and clients to ensure alignment with design requirements.
• Program and configure devices and systems including lighting, AV, networking, CCTV, HVAC, and home automation platforms.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure performance meets client expectations.
• Provide training and support to clients on system use and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales during pre-sales consultations and project planning.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and product innovations.
