Job summary

ELE Interior in Dubai is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to manage costings, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and ensure delivery of luxury interior projects within budget and to high quality standards.

You will oversee site operations, review drawings, develop detailed schedules, and maintain documentation while reporting to management. The role requires strong coordination with design teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time completion and adherence to client requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UAE driving license and vehicle to use for work.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, design team, management and contractors/suppliers.
• Proficient in project management software, Excel, AutoCAD and PlanSwift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise on-site activities, ensuring that all construction and design work meets quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Monitor progress and liaise with site teams to resolve issues during construction.
• Maintain a routine schedule of site visits throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review architectural and design drawings for accuracy, cost feasibility and alignment with budget and client requirements.
• Provide feedback on design elements that could impact cost or timeline.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules ensuring timely completion of all phases.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and design teams for on-time delivery of materials and services.
• Regularly update stakeholders on project timelines, delays or schedule changes.
• Ensure production and design teams stay on schedule and report changes to management.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely, within-spec, and on-budget delivery of materials.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and contractors for best value.
• Oversee contractor performance to meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
• Conduct tendering processes and review BOQs.
• Utilize company software to enhance efficiency and data management.
• Maintain materials library.
